It's that time of year again - football season is right around the corner and fantasy football drafts are in full swing. If your draft is anything like mine it's an event that everyone looks forward to all summer. Over the years it has grown into an all-day affair involving good friends, good food, yard games, cold beverages, and of course the draft that will ultimately determine the 2014 AAFL Championship. Our league does an auction draft with two keepers, so for the most part everybody returns each year to compete for the D-Snot Memorial Trophy. This year I decided to make a banner that we can use year after year for our draft day celebration. I designed this banner using the Banners.com Online Designer:

Minnesota Class 1A State Football Champions: Mahnomen Indians

The Mahnomen Indians are the Minnesota Class 1A State Football Champions for 2012 and 2013. Mahnomen has now won 8 State Football Championships. Banners.com printed some championship banners for the Mahnomen High School to display. The banner has a picture of the football team after their championship game.

If your football team has any football camps during the off season, you should advertise with banners or signs so people know when the camp is and how much it costs. You can also let the football players know when and where the football tryouts are with a banner.

Team Banners and Player Banners
Once you get your team photographs, you can make a banner of your
football team. You can make individual football player banners that have their name, number, position and year in school. These banners can be hung in the school or displayed at the football game for all the fans to see.

You can make a football schedule banner to let people know when are where the games are.You can put yard signs up around town letting people know that there is a game tonight. Cheerleaders can have banners saying things like "Go Team!" or "Touchdown" to use during the game.

There are lots of ways you can use football banners. They can be used to display your football team rooster, your football schedule and at the game to direct people to the bathrooms or concession stands. But, how do you make a football banner? At Banners.com we make it easy to get a custom football banner. We have football banner templates already built for you to customize by adding text, clip art, backgrounds and photographs. Step 1: Choose Banner Size and Quantity
The first step is to choose your banner size and quantity from the drop down menu. You can get any banner size up to 16 feet by 50 feet.

The standard finishing for vinyl banners is heat welded hems and grommets every 2-4 feet around the perimeter. Football banners are typically used outdoors at the games, so if the banner is over 32 square feet and you want extra durability, we recommend reinforced hems and reinforced corners. You can also get pole pockets if you want to hang your banner using poles (please note we can't do both pole pockets and reinforced hems or reinforced corners).
