There are lots of items to consider like planning the course, advertising for the race, registration, organizing volunteers, etc... Before the race, you want to make sure that people know about your event! The best way to do this is to advertise your race with banners and signs! You should include the name of the race, the date and time of the race, race sponsors, contact information and registration information. You can also include any other relevant information, like registration fees, or if the race is for a charity.

On the day of the event, you will want to make it easy for people to find the registration area. You can display yard signs in the parking lots and shuttle areas with arrows leading the way to the registration area.
