How to Order Banners for Marathons, Half Marathons, 10K and 5K Races
Planning a marathon, half marathon, 10K, 5K and other races can be a challenge! There are lots of items to consider like planning the course, advertising for the race, registration, organizing volunteers, etc... Before the race, you want to make sure that people know about your event! The best way to do this is to advertise your race with banners and signs! You should include the name of the race, the date and time of the race, race sponsors, contact information and registration information. You can also include any other relevant information, like registration fees, or if the race is for a charity.

On the day of the event, you will want to make it easy for people to find the registration area. You can display yard signs in the parking lots and shuttle areas with arrows leading the way to the registration area. At the registration area you will want to have a large banner labeled registration so people can easily find it.

It is important to clearly mark the start line of your race. People need to clearly see where the start line is so they can congregate there at the beginning of the race.

Mile Marker Banners and Signs
When people are running the race, they like to know how far they have gone. You should clearly mark every mile on the course. You can either do this with yard signs or with banners.
Encouragement Banners and Signs
During the race you can have signs available for people to encourage the racers. The signs can say things like "You can do it" or "Keep it up" to keep the runners going. There can also be customized signs for individual runners, like "Good Job Jackie" or "Way to Go Bob" to display along the race track.

If your race is sponsored by any businesses or companies, you will want to make sure you have a banner thanking your sponsors for all of their donations and time spent helping to make the race successful. You can either make a big thank you banner, or you can include the sponsors logos on your other banners.
